How to interpret the results (quick guide)

This table shows the latest candle patterns per symbol/timeframe. β€œLast” is the most recent candle signal; β€œOverall” is the aggregated signal over the analysis window. Strength is a composite score (higher = stronger confluence).

If you need to dive deeper into a specific pattern, use the glossary links below. Each pattern name is present in HTML (not only via JavaScript) to make it easy to navigate and to support internal linking.

How to read the Candlestick Scanner

The table shows, per symbol and timeframe, the pattern signal (Last/Overall), a strength score, and the detected patterns for the last candle.

Use filters correctly

  • Timeframe: 15m/1h/4h/1d β€” patterns are not mixed across timeframes.
  • Signal: Filters by bullish/bearish/neutral.
  • Signal Field: β€œLast Candle” uses the last-candle pattern signal; β€œOverall” uses the aggregated signal.
  • Min Strength: Minimum strength score (higher = stronger pattern confluence).
  • Patterns + Match Mode: ANY = at least one pattern matches, ALL = all selected patterns must match.

FAQ

Which patterns are shown?

In β€œPatterns (Last Candle)” you see the detected patterns for the very last candle as chips.

Why do I sometimes see β€œβ€“β€ for patterns?

Either no pattern was detected on the last candle, or the symbol/timeframe has not received a fresh update yet.

How do I combine patterns with other indicators?

Use your preferred multi-indicator filter to layer candlestick signals with momentum/volatility/volume factors.
