OPUSDT is a cryptocurrency project that operates within the Optimism ecosystem, which consists of a network of interconnected chains known as the Superchain. Built on the open-source OP Stack, OPUSDT leverages the capabilities of the Optimism framework to enhance the efficiency and scalability of Ethereum Layer 2 solutions. The OP Mainnet serves as the foundational layer, while various other significant chains, such as Base, Unichain, Ink, and World Chain, utilize the OP Stack to facilitate their operations. A key feature of OPUSDT is its standardized revenue-sharing model, which ensures that each OP Chain within the Superchain contributes to the Optimism Collective. This model mandates that a minimum of 2.5% of total chain revenue or 15% of on-chain profits, calculated as fees minus Layer 1 gas costs, is redirected back to the Optimism framework.
