About Automata

Automata Network serves as a modular attestation layer designed to enhance machine trust within the Ethereum ecosystem through the utilization of Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) coprocessors. By implementing a Proof of Machinehood mechanism, it establishes a decentralized network of machine attestations that facilitates the operation of rollups, promoting an Ethereum-compatible future while minimizing the need for excessive computational resources and economic stakes. The project offers several key components, including 1RPC, a private RPC relay that safeguards user metadata, and TEE Multi-Prover, which leverages Intel SGX technology to provide a variety of robust proof methods. Additionally, TEE Builder is designed to maintain transaction confidentiality and protect user privacy by securing sensitive information within the Intel SGX framework, thereby ensuring a secure and efficient environment for decentralized applications.
