About ARPA

ARPA Network (ARPA) is a decentralized computation framework designed to enhance the fairness, security, and privacy of blockchain technologies. It utilizes a threshold BLS signature network to provide essential infrastructure for various applications, including a verifiable Random Number Generator (RNG), secure wallets, cross-chain bridges, and decentralized custody solutions. The platform's architecture is built on the principles of Multi-party Computation (MPC), which ensures that sensitive data can be processed without compromising privacy. Originally established as ARPA Chain in 2018, the network has successfully executed over 224,000 computation tasks on its Mainnet, demonstrating its operational capabilities and reliability. The development of innovative threshold BLS signature schemes (TSS-BLS) has further solidified ARPA's position in the cryptographic landscape. One of its notable applications, Randcast, serves as a verifiable RNG that provides a secure and cost-effective source of randomness, benefiting various sectors such as gaming, lotteries, NFT minting, and blockchain validator task distribution.
