How RTA Real-Time Analysis Works

Multi-Indicator Engine: RSI, TSI, and ADX

RTA (Real-Time Analysis) turns raw indicators into a practical scanning workflow. Instead of relying on a single signal, RTA combines RSI (momentum extremes), TSI (trend momentum), and ADX (trend strength) to identify setups where multiple factors align — reducing false positives in volatile markets.

Signal Logic: Long vs Short vs Mixed Regimes

Long candidates typically appear when momentum indicators point to oversold or bullish reversal conditions with supportive trend context. Short candidates reflect overbought or bearish momentum. RTA delivers pre-sorted conditions — unlike the comparison tool where you inspect raw values yourself.

Multi-Timeframe Confirmation (15m, 1h, 4h, 1d)

Lower timeframes (15m, 1h) help with early entries; higher timeframes (4h, 1d) provide trend context. RTA market breadth shows Long / Neutral / Short counts across all four timeframes at a glance.

Professional Workflow: Filter, Compare, Validate

Combine RTA with the indicator filter and forex screener for additional confirmations. Unlike the comparison tool — where you inspect raw indicator values side by side — RTA pre-sorts markets by a combined score. Validate context via market status, MACD, Ichimoku and ADX. For RSI-specific interpretation, see RSI Indicator Forex Analysis.

RTA vs Compare: Different Product Roles

RTA means researching pre-sorted multi-indicator market conditions. Compare means inspecting multiple raw indicator values side by side for your own analysis. Both complement each other — RTA for fast market research, Compare for deep single-symbol review.

Key Features:
  • Live RTA scanning by timeframe
  • RSI + TSI + ADX confluence with RTA score 0–100
  • Multi-timeframe market breadth (Long / Neutral / Short)
  • Fast symbol search
  • Designed for professional multi-indicator workflows

RTA Analysis FAQ

RTA is a multi-indicator real-time analysis method that combines RSI, TSI and ADX into a 0–100 score to produce actionable long/short candidates across multiple timeframes.

The RTA score is a composite 0–100 value — not RSI alone. Lower scores suggest stronger bullish/reversal conditions; higher scores suggest stronger bearish or overextended conditions.

RTA below 30 flags bullish/reversal candidates under the default long filter — based on the combined RSI+TSI+ADX model, not the same as RSI < 30 alone.

RTA above 70 flags bearish/overextended candidates under the default short filter — a composite signal, not identical to RSI > 70.

RTA weights momentum (RSI), trend momentum (TSI) and trend strength (ADX) into one score. The table shows all component values beside RTA — transparent, not a black box.

ADX measures trend strength. RTA uses ADX to distinguish whether momentum signals occur in strong trends or range markets — reducing false positives.

Neutral RTA (typically between 30 and 70) means neither clear long nor short conditions under default thresholds. Market breadth shows how many symbols are neutral.

Use 15m for fast intraday scans, 1h for session momentum, 4h for swing context and 1d for higher-timeframe bias. Check at least two timeframes via market breadth.

RTA values refresh with new candle data — typically on a five-minute cycle. Switching timeframes instantly recalculates long/short/neutral distribution.

Yes. Use RTA for pre-sorted multi-indicator conditions, then confirm with MACD, Ichimoku, ADX or market status. For raw indicator comparison use the comparison tool tool.
