Maverick Protocol is an advanced decentralized finance (DeFi) infrastructure that aims to enhance operational efficiency within the cryptocurrency sector. At its core is the Maverick Automated Market Maker (AMM), which simplifies the liquidity provision process by allowing users to choose a movement mode that automatically manages their liquidity. This innovative approach is complemented by features such as customized liquidity distributions, fee auto-compounding, liquidity shaping through boosted positions, and support for native liquid staking tokens (LST) with price-following capabilities. Since its inception, Maverick has successfully raised $18 million across three funding rounds, attracting notable investors. The Maverick AMM was launched on Ethereum Mainnet in March 2023, followed by deployments on zkSync Era and BNB Chain in subsequent months. The protocol has achieved significant trading volume, ranking among the top decentralized exchanges (DEXs) across all chains. Looking ahead, Maverick plans to introduce governance contracts and expand its AMM to additional chains, with future developments subject to community voting. The MAV token serves as the native utility token, enabling governance participation through a Voting Escrow mechanism that rewards long-term commitment with increased voting power.
